was diagnosed with pityriasis rosea and given corticosteroids and it seems to be clearing up the rash very well.However they did take a blood test and now I'm waiting for results.Can syphilis rash be cleared up with steroids ?

No because other then the NFL, people can still rely on their passionate love for football by watching college football. The love of onesalma matter is much more then a city's football team since there is much geographical mobilty. Is this poison ivy or am I having a allergic reaction?

I had this red rash on my butt cheek and it's gotten a really thick red color and spotted red outside of it. The next day it was red on my lower back aswell and over the next two days it's progressively gotten redder and insanely itchy aswell as spreading to my lower stomach. The week before this happened I was in this forest type place on the side of a road. (and by forest it was really just some grass and trees) and I sat maybe a minute on a blanket we brought. So idk if I'm having a allergic reaction and should go to the doctor or just poison ivy and take some medicine from a walgreens or something. Any answers or suggestions?

Bikini wax- after treatment?

So I got my bikini line done for the first time on Monday and everything was perfect, it didn't hurt that much and my skin was recovering well. Most CFL's are not designed to dim. They are either "on" of "off". There are dimmable CFL's available, but they don't work as well as incandescents. There are subtle voltage variations in your service, and this may result in the light unexpectedly turning on and off. It's not a safety issue, it's a functional issue. Hope this helps.

Is it possible to make an UFL Football Team if you never played NCAA Football or higher?

I am about to tryout for an UFL Football Team at the Wide Receiver position although my main position is Quarterback. I am 5'10 170lbs and I run about a 4.5.3 in the 40 Yard Dash (Scramble QB). It's a lot of receivers my size who makes it to these teams, but they played at least in the CFL. I did play Jr. College, but I had personal issues which led to not not being able to play for a university. I recently played 3 years of Semi-Pro Football, but that was at QB, WR & K-Return. Is there a real chance that I can make it over people who played on a higher level?

How effective do you think the incandescent light bulb ban is going to be?

CFLs are useful in areas that lit for long, continuous lengths of time. When where you need light for a few minutes or even seconds, they're completely useless. Plus, they don't make good quality G40-type bulbs(or even G25) in CFLs: they take damn near 30 minutes to warm up. I went back to incandescents in the bathroom and one bedroom.

My guess is the CFL bulb is 80watt equivalent and not actually using 80 watts. Old bulbs were referred to in watts, and people know how bright that is; newer CFLs list the wattage equivalent so people have a good idea how bright they will be. Lumens is the real measure of brightness, not watts; watts is a unit of power. Your "80 watt" CFL is probably drawing more like 17 to 20 watts of power. If you draw more watts than the lamp is rated for, you risk a fire from melting components. To be on the safe side, read the CFL bulb/packaging carefully to determine if it is equivalent to an 80watt non-CFL or if it is actually using 80 watts of power (this would be extremely bright, about the same as 3 100watt standard bulbs).

If best CFL team played best US football team, who'd win?

As much as i love our CFL, even playing CFL rules, overall the NFL has better athletes. Marginally better but in a sporting competition, margins are what makes the difference. I was in Oregon during the NFL strike back in the 80's and watched CFL with co-workers during the strike and they were amazed at the action of our game and recognized alot of the players from their college careers. NFL would win in your first scenario, CFL would win the others. If you gave the NFL a 10, the CFL would be a 9.8 with the XFL a 7 and the top US college team an 8.

How to clear up my face after poison ivy?

Is it worth buying LED, CFL or standard GU10 spotlights?

Canon S95 setting for photographing Cocktail drinks?

No. I have never grown it but have grown many other tropicals under lights. It will only be good until the plant is about 6 inches high. Then they need a lot more light and as they grow they will start to stretch for light and get skinny and weak. The leaves at the bottom will hardly get any.

Is it herpes, a rash...?

I have been traveling for the past 9 months - currently in Nepal - and within the past month I have had outbreaks on my buttocks and inner thighs of red dots. I don't think they are bed bugs as I have seen what bed bugs look like and have experienced them before. They look like pimples and do not itch for the most part. If it's hot outside and sweat gets on them they get even more irritated and itch a little but that's all. I had sex two months ago and the guy said he didn't have an STD but I'm freaking out now. The outbreaks usually occur after shaving but that is not always the case. They bumps are not oozing anything out they just look like red dots in a cluster. It should be okay. The "equal to 100 watts" means the lumens it will produce (units of light) approximate what an incandescent 100 watt puts out. The issues they would limit a fixture to 60 watts for would be the heat that the materials close to the bulb can withstand, and the amperage pulled through the wires used in the fixture. In both cases, you'll be safer than a 60 Watt incandescent. Less heat and pulling fewer amps over the wire because of the lower wattage.

Knowing this I started the toddler formula with more milk protein. she broke out in the rash at that point then slowly with food with milk in it. It seems you are involved in a lot of activities but you may want to think about doing a volunteer job to give you leadership. Many colleges also only require students to take up to Algebra II in maths and you are going to Calculus (even if it's not AP) will still benefit you and also many colleges like to see that you are going on to Physics. I'm a female. I have one older brother named Jack who is turning 18 in three months and no other siblings. I fell on my longboard yesterday on the road , I put my foot down to push it and my foot slid and scraped my entire leg up on my knee about half way down my shin and on the whole top of my foot. It didnt ating that bad after , then I got home about an hour later washed it out put neosporin on and bandages, at night they fell off then when I went to sleep I couldnt sleep at all. Terrible stinging and pain. Today it hurts sooo bad. my legs cant stop shaking and it is intense pain. Its red all around it about two inches thick around. I put neosporin and bandages on just barely and the pain is so bad I cant walk im crying and cant move. It might sound exagerated but it honestly hurts terribly. The color of most of the skin is dark red but not bleeding. Is there anything I can do to help it??? Please!!!!! Thank you

I have been getting rashes on my neck?

Okay so last week on Sunday i found a rash on my neck so i put on some lotion and sure enough it went away a few days later. this morning i woke up with a prickling rash on my neck again. this time its more in the front of my neck. there are blotches that are painful when touched. i have been using hydrocortizone and it seems to be working a little. any idea why this is happening? oh, also it has been very hot and i have been outside alot as well. i am on the swim team too and the clorine level is pretty strong

What do I have, I feel miserable?

I have a strange looking rash on the top of my foot. 3 years ago a spot appeared on the top of my foot that looked like a ringworm. I treated it as such but it never went away. Instead it turned into a bunch of little bumps under my skin. It has not color and does not itch. In addtion to the bumps there are also two red spoltches that are above the skin. I have tried ringworm treatment and tea tree oil and those seem to worsen it. Any help to figure out what this really is would be appreciated.

Lightbulb differences, PAR30, BR30, R30, etc?

What are the differences between those (PAR30, PAR38, BR30, R30, and possibly others that I don't know about) light standards. I currently have recessed lighting and (I think) BR30 light bulbs in hallways and common areas. I have PAR30L's in kitchens and bathrooms. They use the standard E26 socket? How viable is putting CFL's in there? I've read that CFL's shouldn't be put in enclosed areas such as recessed lighting. Is it still a problem with modern CFL's? I don't want to spend $15/bulb and have it die in 6 months. Can I put R30 CFL's in the same sockets as the BR30 and PAR30L's and have the same (or similar) lighting conditions? How to remain motivated? How to lose weight?

I have no support. I'm not complaining, but it's difficult to remain motivated when you have no one to keep you going. Whether you fail or not, it's only yourself your damaging. And if you're like me, you really don't care. I want to care, but I don't... at least not enough. Here's the catch: I'd like to lose 50lbs. I'm a medium-framed female, 5'7", 180lbs approx. Eating healthy isn't the issue. I can control myself there... when I care to. I don't eat dairy - dairy is miserable for you. Look it up if you don't believe me. Example diet plan - no dairy please? Simple exercise plan? I can get access to a gym, but it won't be for about two months. I have a 10lb weight and two 5lb weights. I can't exercise outside, I get heat sickness VERY easily. I'm not just complaining - I literally puke and break out in rashes. Once I get on this plan, how can I remain motivated to keep going. I really want to for my health mostly. I have no confidence issues.:) Sex would be nice for exercise, but I'm not getting that right now... SO. Help? I want to start ASAP, but I don't want to if I know it will just fail. Ok, so lately I have been outside a lot so i get bug-bites. But two days ago I noticed bites (at least i think they are) in areas which are covered by clothing. Then they would itch worse than the regular mosquito bites and would burn like a sunburn if you touch them. I also found one kind of below my armpit that is swollen and red and inflamed. Is this some allergic reaction? Or a severe rash? A bite? I used anti itch antibiotic but it didn't help at all. It seems to get larger everyday and I'm worried about this being serious. 19 years old & Im scared of a breast lump?

Tiny Rash-Like Bumps ALL OVER My Face!!!?

About two days ago I woke up and my face was broken out. It was definitely NOT acne. It looks like a bunch of little bumps all over my face (i.e. chin, cheeks, forehead, behind my ears). They're dry and flaky and quite irritating. They're not itchy, but they kind of make my face feel tight (this is the best way I can describe it, so bare with me please). So my mom thinks I'm having an allergic reaction to something new in the house...which could be a possibility of things!! I just recently got a kitten last week. I have had cats before and nothing like this has happened. Although allergies can take effect at any time. But if that's the case, then why isn't the rest of my body broke out? Especially my hands? Then there's the new face cleanser that my sister bought (which that's what I think it is). She has really bad allergies so she bought a new L'OREAL skin cleanser (go 360 clean deep facial cleanser). I have only used it once. I used it that night and woke up with my face like this the next morning. But it's been two days and my face has only gotten worse!! Maybe it was something I ate. I do have a peanut allergy. But I can't recall anything that could have even possibly had peanuts in it. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! Could someone at least give me a home remedy so that I could make this go away?! It's killing my self-esteem and I'm already sort of depressed. My poison Ivy went away very fast?

So i was in the mountains, and i accidentally got into a bunch of Poison Ivy. I started to freak out because i started getting this very red rash and these little under the skin blisters. My grandma went into a store and she bought some water and some medication before taking me to primed. When she got back my rash had already started to disappear, it wasn't as red, and the little blisters started to go down. Within an hour the entire rash was gone. Now i know Poison Ivy doesn't affect certain people, and those people don't suffer a rash. what do you think happened in my case? i checked the leaves to make sure that it was most defiantly poison ivy.

Well I'm 13 and a out 5'10" and can throw 30-40 yards. Have you tried throwing the ball at more of an angle? This helps alot unless your throwing a shorter distance bullet. Wat I do is I hold the ball at my chest step up with my left foot (I'm right handed) then hold my arms at 90 degree angles. I lean back and throw the ball more upward than most people. Then I straighten my arm out and release the ball.

I have these rashes on my face which are below my glasses, between my eyes and my ears on both sides of my face. they don't really save much $ on the electric bill, but they last waaaay longer so you save $ by not replacing regular incandescents as often. And you shoulda shopped around a bit for CFL's cuz The Home Depot usually runs specials on them around this time of year for a pack of 4 bulbs for about $3 and the dimmable ones for around $7.

My mom has been getting this rash. It started on her hands very scaly and itchy then turned red. The rash eventually continued all over her body. It looks like little red dots some are individual and some are clustered together. A couple of them are starting to burst and bleed. She went to a dermatologist and they said it was seborrheic keratosis but, the symptoms and images are just not matching up with her problem. It seems now that when i buy a CFL bulb for my house and put it in, after a good 24 hours of use the color of the bulb seems to look more like an incandecent bulb. I was asked by my uncle to draw him a tattoo. The only specifications he gave me was that he wanted a father/daughter symbolization being it a wolf and cub, dragon andwas t baby, tiger and cub so on and so forth he said any animal I wanted and he wanted it to symbolize father and daughter and other then that he wants his daughters name "Makayla rae" somewhere in the picture hidden where you have to really look hard to tell its there. I am think of doing a wolf and wolf cub either both howling at the moon and have them both tribal with a tribal moon and stars. I was going to have a star for each letter of her first name and each star would be tribal with the letter hidden in it and the moon would be tribal with the second name rae hidden inside it. But I was also thinking instead just the father could be howling and the baby curled up at his feet or they could both be nuzzling each other or the father could be howling up at the moon and the baby be curled up on top of the moon symbolizing that she is far away because right now they are in different states. But im not sure if he would like this or not. Bit by something on a camping trip baseball size reddish rash with bruising Pics included Any Idea?

Hello we're in central Illinois and went camping over the weekend my friend first noticed the bite on Saturday which looked like a mosquito bite. It was normal skin color and about the size of a peanut M & M. It was itchy. On Sunday the bump was gone and in its place was a large reddish rash with bruising. It is not painful to the touch and does not appear to have gotten bigger than on sunday although the bruising has gotten slightly more purplish in color there is no signs of puss or any type of fever. As soon as this is posted i will add a photo bucket link with pictures. We were attacked by mosquitos and chiggers that weekend and its deer tick territory out there...we also have brown recluses in that area i've nver seen a bite like that. What do you think it was? Shes trying to avoid a hospital ill if she can....what do you think?

Why am I itching and getting bumps on my face, arms and rash?

on my leg? The itching started about two weeks ago. My skin is usually flawless and good looking. I notice when I get into bed it feels like something is crawling or biting me lightly. What would i use to measure watts being consumed?

i am building a display for a project to demonstrate the electricity usage for a LED bulb vs an Incandescent and a CFL. I believe that i need a wattmeter, but cant find one online for a reasonable (cheap) price. i have found an ammeter for a good price, but im only trying to demonstrate the difference between a 100 watt, 32 watt, and a 7 watt bulb, and would like to be able to demonstrate the usage, rather than just referring to the package. any ideas where i could find one of these or any ideas?

How can i power a cfl with a Battery?

You'd need an inverter, and probably something bigger than double A batteries. Most inverters require 12 volts. You could use 8 D cells, but I'm not sure how long they would last. A CF bulb takes about 10-15 watts.

There CAN'T be an adapter. You need to REPLACE the existing fixtures with fixtures designed for 'old fashion' incandescent bulbs. The screw in CFLs actually have a BUILT in adapter FROM incandescent to florescent. The plug in florescent lights are NOT CFLs.

Red Raw wounds in belly button?

I got punched in the stomach the other day pretty lightly, but enough to kinda take the wind out of me.. It was my friend just messin around, ever since then ive had this really sore pain right at the upper part of my belly button going about 2 inches above it.. when i push down on it it just feels really sore like a bruise, sharp pain.. its really irritating when i bend forward or goto sit down, and it keeps waking me up from sleep every time i roll on my stomache (im 300 pounds 6 feet so definitely a big guy with a big gut) but the weird part is I looked inside my belly button and apart from being a little swollen and it feels all hot, theres a red raw scratch looking thing thats going from inside of my belly button down inside(where i cant see the bottom of it) and theres 1 other small red scratch/wound/rash in there aswell, same type but a lot smaller.. its definitely not red skin though its actually a wound i can see the moisture inside of it.. but its reallly light almost like someone scraped your knee really quick with a piece of sandpaper... anyways this has been happening now for 2 nights and its really annoying and starting to worry me.. i cant goto the doctors either so anything would help

For the past 2 weeks or so, I have had this horrible pain in the upper, right part of my shoulder/back that wraps around my right side under my arm pit and goes to my right breast. It itches and feels numb when I scratch it and the itch never goes away. It is a constant pain and nothing I do seems to help alleviate the pain. My breast has become so sensitive as well. When I walk and my arm rubs up against it, the only way I can describe it is that the area feels raw. There is nothing at the surface of the skin such as a rash, bumps, etc. It DOES NOT feel like muscle pain. It is sensitive to the touch. It is driving me crazy!!! Any suggestions? I really don't want to have to go to the doctor...

Can anyone tell me what is going on with Terrell Pryor and is he going to the CFL?

He quit at tOSU. He turned down the offer from the CFL. His current options are the NFL supplemental draft. Minor league with the UFL. Getting in shape and training for next years regular draft. While his ethics issues got him in trouble in the NCAA, it is said that they will not be a real obstacle to his being drafted by the NFL. He won't go real early, but, with his size, strength, etc, he will almost certainly go in the supplemental - IF THERE IS ONE.

My investigative journalism (i.e. youtube searches on the facts of his case) have led me to believe otherwise. I decided to look into his case and attempt to figure out what actually happened. As a supporter of the West Memphis Three I completely regret my rash decisions as well as my actions and I am ashamed of them. How to avoid chafing forever!?

Like quite a few people, I suffer from chafing of my legs, particularly in the summer when I wear shorts or dresses. I HATE IT so much! In just over a month, I will be going to Europe, and will spend 3 weeks walking around, and in places like Italy, it's gonna be hot! I really don't want to be dealing with rashes, and putting penaten cream on every night! But at the same time, I know that no diet or toning exercise will clear up the problem in time, though it may improve it. Are there any techniques or things I can do to avoid this problem?

Ichy red small bumps on my neck?

i have a pretty larg rash on the front of my neck it is raised a little and has small ichy bumps . i have gone to my Dr and she gave me hydrocortisone .but when i put the cream on i was over come with a vary bad stinging pain it was unbarable and i had to wash it off .i have since tryed putting another unsented cream on the rash it does not sting but does not seem to be helping the rash ...any idea what may be causing this ?

I really hate when people spell their kids names oddly. There is nothing wrong with naming your child a unique name like Anastasia, Aurora, Donnatella, Beau, etc. they are beautiful names but using a "unique" way of spelling something does not make it special. Spelling Jessica, Jessikha isn't special the name is still just a common name, it just makes you look like you can't spell.

no, simply because it is the Nfl, N stands for national. they have those international games to show predominately soccer countries the sport of American Football. They broadcast internationally cause once they have instilled that love of the game the people in other countries who want to watch can. Plus it is up to the owners and then they have to get permission from the upper dogs, who would almost certainly say no, then there is Canada's Gov., who might not be happy with 50000 people crossing the border for one day. I mean, to get permission to relocate takes forever. Don't believe me? The Broncos are gonna change jersey colors in 2012, mostly cause they didn't get approval in time for the 2011 season.

My CFL broke in my room.. am i gnna die?

i was using a cfl for the first time today and i ddnt reely think i could screw it in to my light. I opened it out of the package and i guess i was being rough with it because it shattered and little pieces of glass fell all over my floor and bed... i cleaned everything up with a vacuum but i know cfls contain a small amount of mercury gas so im wondering if me being exposed to that could be dangerous? also when the bulb broke it left a tiny cut on my finger. Can I grow vegetables under normal CFL bulbs?

I am just wondering if normal CFL bulbs (the swirly ones) will be enough power to grow tomatoes, and maybe lettuce indoors. I have a small space out side, but I am growing watermelons out there, so I cannot do it outdoors. i have a little rash that just looks like a line of tiny white heads on the top of my pelvic bone right where the top of my pants are. i am allergic to nickel so sometimes when i would wear belts i would get an itchy rash right in the middle where the buckle was. i recently got a belt that has nickel on the side of it right under where the rash showed up. ive moved around to see if somehow the nickel has been touching my skin and it doesnt seem like it has been. also the rash seems different this time. it doesnt itch as much as it is just a little uncomfertable. any ideas what it is? could it be from sticker bushes somehow? or being sweaty in the heat? ive had it for 2 days now

It is the only league without one. I think instead of practice rosters and cutting guys there should be a minor leagues. Now a lot of people will say the CFL and UFL are stepping blocks but you can't call a player up whenever you feel. My rashes are not healing, what do I do?

I get rashes a lot, usually heat rash. Or sometimes its from some sort of allergy. Anyway, they take for ever to heal. When I was about 9 I was allergic to the button on jeans and I had a rash all under my belly button for almost 2 years. Even when I stopped wearing jeans or taped of the button. High quality CFLs are bright right away. The ones that are dim right away - like you're talking about - are the cheap Trisonic CFLs from China. I use CFLs in my home and once I got rid of the "99 Cent City" bulbs I've had no problems.

How can I help out my brother-in-law who is a private in the Army who just found out he is a father?

My brother-in-law is a 20 year old with a mind set of a 14 year old boy. He just graduated from basic and training two weeks ago. He took a paternity test and found out that he is the father to a two month old boy. He has orders to take him to Korea in the beginning or middle of July. He is on leave at the moment but he is running out of time fast. He is in the Army but where he is on leave there is a Navy base around 30 min away. The mother is an absolute train wreck. She doesn't bathe the baby but every three or four days and the baby has horrible diaper rash. The poor baby has open blisters and she doesn't know how to properly change a diaper to keep the baby dry. Well my b-in-law cannot get the mother onto base now because she has no picture ID, no driver's license, or state ID card. She cannot get on base to set up child support or set the baby up as his dependent in the system. (I know alot of this stuff because I am a veteran and I am an air force wife.) He is running out of time fast and I have no idea what advice to give him. I wish there was a way to extend his orders. He found out just last week that this is his child and it is completely the wrong time. Not to mention that he is immature and is not taking the right steps to maximize the time that he has left before he has to report to his duty station! Can anyone give me some advice on what to tell him?!?
