How effective do you think the incandescent light bulb ban is going to be?

CFLs are useful in areas that lit for long, continuous lengths of time. When where you need light for a few minutes or even seconds, they're completely useless. Plus, they don't make good quality G40-type bulbs(or even G25) in CFLs: they take damn near 30 minutes to warm up. I went back to incandescents in the bathroom and one bedroom.
