Canon S95 setting for photographing Cocktail drinks?

Im trying to achieve "jaw dropping quality" shots of cocktail drinks with a Canon S95 in Raw and Manual setting, its nigh time and Im turning on all the lights in my kitchen basically their CFL and my walls are white, my house is NOT dark do you think I need flash? Also Im gonna place the drinks on the kitchen counter which is next to the wall, does this mean I need to set it on the highest aperture because the background is very close? Also what's a good shutter speed to achieve that photographic look you see on a magazine also how should I set the ISO to, also for the flash settings-what power small to high and also the delay?
