Rash after sex? is it serious?

last saturday I had unprotected sex and the day after I have seen very noticeable red spots like a rash. it itches a little but not much. But yesturday I had sex again with a different guy and he has told me that since then he has got a rash on his penis. could i have an std? i could use some advice please
